Its been a while since we've had some decent snow here and I must say I'm rather pleased with winters latest dusting. Not only does it look beautiful, but its given us a day off from school which couldnt have come at a better time. The week before a vacation always seems extra long and this week is no exception. Its funny how snow and the cold of winter have such a lulling effect on me. Maybe its just being home alone with nothing but thoughts and music, but everything about today has just been so relaxed Ive realized i'd almost forgotten what it feels like to feel so at ease. Right now there is no pressure, no insesent yelling/talking, nothing that 'has' to get done. Theres no being who they want me to be, there are no gaurded thoughts.

I love the feeling of just being. Just walking with the wet snow falling in your face, the cold seeping into you making you warm and numb. Coming in from winter is possibly one of the things I love most about the season. Cause even if its cold out there, you can always come back to someplace warm. I like that.

Right now, Im relaxed. at ease. Not as depressed as I have been, just calm and absorbant.

This warmth-I wish I could feel forever.
